The Rev. Dr. Edwin C. Coon, Minister Emeritus of Everett, Washington, First Presbyterian Church, has ventured far from his roots in New York’s Mid-Hudson Valley. Like a modern-day Abraham, in answering God’s call to move forward into unknown territory, Ed has found himself wrestling with his own sense of selfworth, his ongoing faith, his challenging relationships with the people of the church, and even with his God. This book is Ed’s attempt to tell the story of First Presbyterian. However, in the process, he also tells his own.

Food Bank Sunday

ImageThe first Sunday of the month is our food bank Sunday.

Our tradition is to bring non-perishable foods to church on Communion Sunday for the food bank to share with those in need. Just place it in one of the baskets outside the sancturary or drop off anytime at the basket in the office...
